I'm actually surprised this store as low reviews.i have been here now about 5 times or so and it's been pretty good. The restaurant is inside the mall it's not always clean but at least the tables are usually clean and usually not too buy. The food is good there was only one dish I didn't like but I forgot what it was. Other than that a great place to come and eat of your at the mall

This was always one of my favorite places for fries but they have recently changed their recipe and I was super disappointed. They still had images of the old style on the wall but served this battered greasy replacement.

I love their food. It's usually my go to place in the Northridge mall. I just wish it was a littler cleaner. The staff for the most part does try to keep it clean, but it still has an overall subpar feel to it. Despite that, I still really enjoy their food and will continue to go back.

I personally enjoy the French onion philly in a wrap. I will say the food is consistently good in my opinion, and will happily go back. The Northridge mall food court has changed so much, but steak escape has been a solid staple for years and I think that says a lot.

I decided to break away from my normal food stop in the mall to try this spot, and I was not disappointed. The food was served hot and quick, it was delicious, and the price was right.

I see a lot of reviews complaining about the price, but compared to spending the same amount of money at any other fast food restaurant of the same quality, this is a great deal! All of their size options/containers are clearly posted above the registers so you know exactly what you're getting.

And to the people crying about the mayonnaise, learn how to order a sandwich. The fix-ins they offer have no place on any of these sandwiches. If you don't like it, then it's your own fault for ordering it. Every sandwich, as listed, speaks for itself and doesn't need anything extra except for the amazing seasoned salt.

Overall my experience was great, and I'm sure I'll be back here again in the future.

Quick review; Imagine an incredibly mediocre steak sandwich. Now imagine Steak Escape.

Back at the Northridge mall. I work in the neighborhood, so I find myself here killing time a few times a week. Might as well grub.

Steak Escape is my next stop. Located in the food court area of the mall. Ordered me a steak sandwich but as a wrap. It comes with 'steak', cheese, and mayo (which I opted out). Optional lettuce tomato and onions if you like (basically a salad inside). I went with it since going wrap w salad makes it a little better for you, not to mention balanced and easier to digest. If you want something more authentic, go straight no salad inside and on a roll rather then wrap. I was thinking healthy, so this was my choice.

Ok so the wrap was bland through and through. You had unseasoned pieces of thin sliced, chopped 'steak', paired with a flavorless cheese product which I could not distinguish. Lettuce tomato and onion had no been seasoned or dressed in any type of way. Not much love in this wrap honestly.

I suppose my 'healthy' version of a steak wrap was a mistake here at steak escape. Maybe if you went with it on a roll, no salad ingredients just straight meat cheese and mayo, that would be tastier.  But I like to watch my figure so that type of meal is considered a 'cheat meal', and if I'm cheating it surely won't be @ steak freakin escape. Feel me?
